Community Outreach
Place of Promise sponsors a number of community outreach programs. These include a summer day camp for neighborhood children, internship opportunities for students and various community health care service projects that provide health and social systems advocacy and personal mentorship. Each of these programs utilizes a relational model of service. Many individuals are unable to access effective health care or social services and require sustained supportive relationships to facilitate and promote health. These alliances promote greater access to existing services and enhance the quality of these services. Place of Promise welcomes continued opportunities for further health care initiatives.
