Place of Promise welcomes volunteers (individuals and groups) to share their skills, time and resources. Areas of opportunity include construction, auto repair, computers, child care, tutoring (children and adults), health care, general maintenance, correspondence, food preparation, transportation for residents, plumbing and heating, electrical work, administration and fund raising.
Supervised apprenticeships are also available in Spiritual Mentoring or Systems Advocacy for those who are able to make a regular year-long commitment. The Promise Residential Treatment Program offers a safe and structured milieu for the development of relational and advocacy skills.
